The first event of the “Environmental Conservation, Research, and Experiential Learning Session on the Yakushima Coast”, a project supported by the Seven-Eleven Memorial Foundation's Environmental Citizen Activities Grant, was held in Yamanose.

This time, we observed rare wetland plants in the coastal area of ​​Yamanose Park and recorded their distribution. There were 12 participants.
