Pilgrimage Group from the Kansai Region Visits Yakushima

We welcomed a pilgrimage group traveling from the Kansai region and shared a talk on “Missionary Sidotti and Yakushima.”

A group of 16 participants from the Hankyu Travel International tour, “A Journey Through Tanegashima and Yakushima,” attended a lecture by our Chairperson, Tomoko Furui, on “Missionary Sidotti and Yakushima.” She also provided an explanation of the Yakushima Sidotti Memorial Museum, currently under construction, and requested their support for the project.

Although the weather was unfortunately rainy, the participants listened with great interest, and we were grateful to receive donations as well.
