Meeting to talk about the memories of Father Contarini

We invited Mr. Tonao Hidaka, former Mayor of Yaku Town, who had a close relationship with Father Contarini, and Mr. Atsuyoshi Iwakawa, former Head of Koshima Village, to the church to talk about their memories with the priest. Along with various episodes, the two said, "I admired the great humanity of the priest who accepts everyone," and they also expressed great expectations for the establishment of the "Yakushima Sidotti Memorial Museum."
