鹿児島県議会の議員の方々が記念館を視察されました。Members of the Kagoshima Prefectural Assembly visited the museum.

鹿児島県議会総務警察委員会による行政視察で、９人の議員の方々に加え、議会事務局2名、執行部5名の総勢16名の方々が「屋久島シドッテイ記念館」を視察されました。2024年度に続き２回目の視察となりました。

前回はまだ、「記念館」ができていない時期でしたが、今回は完成した施設について、この2年間の活動の流れを館長古居智子から冒頭でご説明させていただきました。その後、ギャラリー、ショップ、展望デッキ、上陸地展望タワー、ガーデンと順次、施設内外を約1時間にわたりご案内しました。

議員の方々から、さまざまなご質問を受けるなか、「山も海も望める素敵な施設」、「前向きに頑張るスタッフの姿に感銘を受けた」とのご意見をいただきました。

A delegation of sixteen — nine assembly members from the General Affairs and Police Committee, two secretariat staff, and five prefectural officials — visited the Yakushima Sidotti Museum as part of an official inspection tour. This marked their second visit, following one in fiscal year 2024, when the museum had not yet been completed.

This time, Director Tomoko Furui opened with an overview of the completed facility and the NPO's activities over the past two years. The group then spent roughly an hour touring the gallery, shop, observation deck, landing-site lookout tower, and garden, both inside and around the grounds.
