屋久島おおぞら高校の生徒を対象にシドッティ記念館見学ツアーを行いました。We held Sidotti Museum Tour for Students of Yakushima Ozora High School.

通信制高校、屋久島おおぞら高等学校の生徒18名、教員13名の方々が授業の一環としてシドッティ記念館を見学されました。ほとんどが島外の生徒さんで、シドッティのことを知らなかった人も多い中、非常に興味深い様子で見学されました。合わせてシドッティ上陸展望タワーや敷地内に植栽されている屋久島固有種、自生種などの植物も見学しました。

Eighteen students and thirteen teachers from Yakushima Ozora High School, a correspondence high school, visited the Sidotti Museum as part of their coursework. Most of the students were from outside of Yakushima, and many had never heard of Sidotti before, but they toured the museum with great interest. They also visited the Sidotti Landing Observation Tower and viewed the plants on the grounds, including species native and endemic to Yakushima.
